SUPPORT OUR CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN -

As the social justice arm of the Archdiocese of Detroit, Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) works to bring the love and mercy of Jesus Christ to those in need. Won’ t you help CCSEM care for the least ones who are the images of Jesus Christ among us?

CCSEM annually brings help and hope to more than 20,000 persons, regardless of their race or religion, culture or creed. CCSEM serves families from all walks of life through 13 locations in the six counties of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Ministries include the All Saints Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in southwest Detroit, Hispanic Outreach, Services for newcomers to the United States, Behavioral Health Services, the Project Hope ministry for expectant mothers and mothers with young children, Adoption and Foster Care Services, and Services for Senior Citizens.

You can donate in one of three ways: use the envelopes provided by your parish, go online to ccsem.org/donate, or mail a check to CCSEM at 15945 Canal Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.

To learn more, call Kelly Luttinen at 248- 548- 4044 ext. 3621 or email luttinenk@ccsem.org.

“The works of Catholic Charities of  Southeast Michigan are the corporal works of mercy. We are not principally a social service agency, but an instrument of God’s love and mercy.”

- The Most Reverend Allen H. Vigneron,

Archbishop of Detroit and President of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan

For 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 42 million pounds of emergency food to over 500 partner schools, soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties.  We are in critical need of volunteers. Just two hours will make a difference.

My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery (MNMG) is a nutrition-focused pop-up grocery that provides families and individuals who have limited access to affordable, healthy foods with a new shopping option within their communities. Educational programming and free food giveaways encourage increased consumption of fruits and vegetables. Volunteers are needed to greet shoppers, assemble orders on our truck, bag orders for customers, and assist with market set-up and tear-down.
