St. Martin de Porres Parish - How To Find Us

Parish Office Hours

Monday & Tuesday
9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m  – noon

Note: "First Friday" Office Hours:
The parish office hours will be from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm. on the first Friday of each month so the parish staff can  celebrate Mass together on First Friday.

In order for an article to appear in the weekend parish bulletin, it needs to be submitted no later than 9:00 a.m. of the prior Friday. All articles should be submitted by e-mail to the parish office. Items from other parishes will be included as space permits, but parish articles and events take priority. Articles may be shortened or reduced due to space limitations. To place an advertisement in the parish bulletin, please contact the publishing company directly at the phone number found in the ads pages of the bulletin. We do not handle the advertising. Articles for the bulletin of the Central Macomb Vicariate are welcome; go to their website for more information.

Please remember that you must schedule your Mass intentions at least 2 weeks before the anniversary or special intention date if you want them to appear in the parish bulletin. If you phone or come in to say that you forgot to do this, we are sorry, but this two-week advance notification is necessary because of the bulletin copy submission deadline, which is ten days before the weekend of bulletin distribution. Thanks for your cooperation! Our email is: parishoffice@smdeporres.com

Registration Form

Why is it important to be registered in a parish?

Registration is the official way we join a parish community. Many people think that because they attend a particular parish they automatically belong. At times young adults who have moved away for years think they are still registered under their parents. But membership requires signing up - formally enrolling yourself in a parish. Registration is a commitment
to a community, a way to be included in the religious, social and ministerial activities of your parish. Your registration affects the parish in many ways. Census numbers can determine how many priests are assigned to a church, what benefits and obligations the community has to the diocese, and how Masses and programs are planned and scheduled.

Registration shows you belong! It is also necessary for certain benefits, like scheduling sacraments, obtaining sponsor certificates, and getting donation statements for tax purposes. Most importantly, it lets the parish count on you, to call on you to assist in its mission. Registering in your parish is a statement of faith and confidence in the life and work of your parish.
